SPECIAL HEARING ON WILZIG RACETRACK MAR. 27
The Town of Taghkanic Planning Board will hold a special meeting to discuss a new application forWilzig Racing Manor on Tuesday, March 27th at 6:30 pm at Town Hall. Mr. Wilzig is simultaneously suing the Town and ZBA, continuing his argument that this mile-long asphalt track is a "customary accessory use" to his one-family home, while also applying for a permit for the track from a separate agency. The Granger Group believes the lawsuit is intended primarily as an effort to intimidate the Planning Board into giving him a permit in exchange for not having to litigate his nuisance suit.

The ZBA rejected by a vote of 3-to-1 the argument brought forward by Wilzig attorney Carl Whitbeck, who asked the Board to deem Wilzig's mile-long, asphalt racetrack as a customary accessory use to a one-family residential property.
